Fourth of July week in Washington

It's always a fun time when the Townsend Clan gets together. We spent many days outside in the perfect weather. At least it was a prefect and welcomed break from Arizona...haha since I was only home one day between trips. :-) If we weren't outside on the back patio, it was either the beach or at the park. It was a wonderful time! I could spend the whole day outside if I wanted.

A Sunday walk near the water.

We spent a day at the beach and had a picnic. The kids and big "kids" played in the rocks, skipped rocks, played frisbee or football and took lots of pictures.

The in-laws felt left out...

This was Adelaide's favorite room at Grandma's house. It's a kitchen under the stairs, perfect for little kiddos.

Lori bought all the kids 4th of July clothes. Adelaide was not cooperating when trying to take pictures with everyone, hence the reason we have no pictures with all the cousins or grandma and grandpa because Geoff and I were trying to coax her to stay with them. We did get a few by herself though.

Happy 4th! We went to Oak Harbor for the parade and it was AMAZING!! I have never gotten so many free things ever! Free candy, free frisbees, free flags, free water bottles, etc. Awesome.

Pigeon Forge Reunion

It's seems like I have made a habit of going to Oklahoma for a month ever since Geoff and I got married. And poor Geoff has only tagged along once. Thankfully my mom was able to drive out to Mesa to pick Adelaide and me up.

Only 20 minutes into the journey, Adelaide threw up. I felt so bad for her!! This was our detour.

Abby was gagging while she threw up and I said..."Abby you're going to have to help me out here." :-)

We were able to take my baby sister to the MTC and she is loving it so far! I know she will be a great missionary at Temple Square!

When we finally got to Oklahoma, Adelaide was scared of meeting new people. She was having stranger anxiety, and she dose not like being around Cole. Cole is only 4 months younger than her and every time he comes into the room, she runs right up to him and either hits or pushes him. I think it might be a little "Grandma Jealousy." ;-) But I took a couple pictures of them playing in Great Grandma's playroom. They seem to be getting along fine... haha until I put the camera down. The older boys wanted a picture too.

We love Great Grandma Tuckett and always have fun being at her house. Happy Birthday Grandma!

Last time to swim at Kyle and Aubrie's house before they move!

Adelaide LOVES to be outside. It's probably because we live in Arizona and I stay inside as much as possible. But we were able to have a picnic on our way to the Tuckett Reunion in Tennessee. Adelaide officially HATES the car. She's had a 10 hour drive to Utah, 18 hours to Oklahoma, 14 hours to Pigeon Forge and 14 hours back to Oklahoma. So needless to say, outdoors was needed frequently.

We went to a cave and the largest underground lake. It was pretty cool and Adelaide could have walked the entire way if she wanted to. Thankfully we had tons of hands to help because all the little ones were getting restless.

We sat in a long yellow tunnel to adjust our eyes entering and leaving the cave.

Photo Bomber

Who's crazy? We're not crazy!

The family went to Corkey's for Father's Day dinner, it was one of the best BBQ I've had in awhile.

Walking down main street we took several pictures.

A picnic was perfect in the Great Smokey Mountain's and the creek near us was loved by all the children. We went on a scenic route and it took us a hour and a half to go about 40 miles. It was Gorgeous!

Adelaide doesn't mind getting dirty. I love watching her explore and seeing new things. :-)

Two of my favorite girls, Hannah and Ali!

On our way back from the picnic, we drove through Townsend, Tennessee. And I'm pretty sure Geoff's family came from North Carolina or somewhere near.

We also went to Dollywood, but I didn't take my camera unfortunately. It was a long day and Adelaide typically doesn't sleep unless she is in a bed or car seat.
