Tangled

I had a little more time to execute the Tangled movie night. Adelaide loved going to Rapunzel's castle. The floating lanterns amused her but my favorite are the frying pans.

"Frying Pans... who knew, right?"

Yummy Pascal's paint brushes.

Flynn Rider: But I know what the big question is? Did Rapunzel and I ever get married? Well I am happy to say after years and years of asking, I finally said yes.
Rapunzel: Eugene!
Flynn Rider: Okay, okay. I asked her.
Rapunzel: And we're living happily ever after!
Flynn Rider: Yes we are.

Cate doesn't get to participate in the food festivities but she's content in her bouncer.

Cinderella

Our first Disney movie night was Cinderella. It was last minute but it was fun to think up food and everything. I'm not very crafty (and it's very apparent) but I loved it.

We got to eat at Cinderella's Castle.

"You have only until midnight, and- on the stroke of twelve, the spell will be broken, and everything will be as it was before."

Disney Movie Nights

I thought it would be fun to have Disney movie nights since we're going on a Disney cruise. Adelaide has enjoyed them so far but let's be real... I love Disney too. It's nice that Geoff knows every single word to every single Disney song. We were meant to be together. :-)

Adelaide is young and I wanted her to understand and get her excited for the cruise. I kept telling her we were going to see the Princesses but she always thought we were going that day. To make it easy, I made a countdown for her.

Yay Disney cruise! Yay for Grandma and Grandpa for making it happen!!

Utah Trip

Utah is almost always on our list of trips at least once during the year. My cousin Connor was getting married and I didn't want to miss it. It also happened that Geoff's Cousin was getting married the same weekend.

We stayed at Hotel Cummings. Cousins are a must and first priority for Adelaide.

Great Grandpa Tuckett couldn't resist Cate. He usually doesn't hold babies. :-)

Merissa watched the girls while I went to the wedding and I'm pretty sure Adelaide loved playing with her. She was wearing a toga when I returned and was ecstatic to show me.

The happy couple Connor and Natalie!

Father's Day

Geoff asked for pictures of the girls so he could take to work. I was a little surprised but excited he wanted them. for Father's Day I decided to just do a fun picture.

The Cement was HOT HOT. It was a real struggle to get this picture. Adelaide cried and cried. I put a towel underneath her and it didn't help. Cate was a perfect subject, just laid there without a single peep.

Pool Party

We have some really great friends here in Mesa and a couple of them are Kevin and Natalie. Kevin goes to Law School with Geoff and they study hard. Natalie and I  and the kids get to play together all day. We go to the park, the aquarium, the library and the zoo. Adelaide LOVES their daughter. And to make things better we had babies two weeks apart.

They had a pool party and these kiddos stayed in their car seats. I was hoping Cate would wake up so she could use her swimsuit and get in the pool. But she didn't. It was hot outside and the shade was her friend.

James is only 2 weeks older than Cate. They are cuties and are already betrothed. :-)

These girls are my favorite! It's a hate/love relationship (mostly love). You know... 2 year olds will be two years old.

Geoff's trying to refresh her swimming skills with her. It went well for awhile until it came to the monkey walk. We go over to Aunties every week and she blows bubbles and dunks her head under water so I'm not sure what happened here.

Little Girls

It was time to buy Adelaide a pool since we can't do much outside in the summer unless you have a lot of water. She is obsessed with swimming and Tea pots lately. So of course the most obvious thing was to combined a pool party and tea party together. Daddy is a good sport. I guess he had a lot of practice with having a younger sister and playing "Pretty Pretty Princess" all the time.

Snuggled in her bouncer. Only a few days old.

Cate's first outing. We took the girls to the outside Mall and like always we ended up in the water.

Catherine Rae

It's once again time for me to catch up on my posts. Sorry. More pictures of our sweet little Catherine's birth. We have a picture of Geoff cutting the umbilical cord, but we will spare you the dramatizing background and gore. :-) But here is one after he cut it. I wonder what he's thinking? haha!

We had visitors but the only documented ones were the Molen's.
