Cute or Creepy

Jared and Allison invited us over for dinner and watch Charlie Brown's Great Pumpkin. We decided it would be fun to dress up. I was obviously a cat and Geoff was a crazy person. He even brought his best friend with him. (Can't tell but Mario is being a creeper. He has his hand on my shoulder).

He made sure that Mario was taken care of while we were eating.

He thought Mario needed a driving lesson, which he did surprisingly well for his first time.

Jared and Allison: what a cute couple.

At first I though Jared was an old man with his white hair and mustache but then I saw the 2%. It all made sense when Allison put her costume on. They made a very delicious butternut squash soup and they made our bowls out of acorn squash and had pumpkin muffins! So so yummy! I had three servings of the soup, it was THAT good!

I made an apple pie and tried to make it "Halloweenie" by putting a jack-o-lantern on it.

34 Weeks

I am 34 weeks and it's starting to feel like it's taking forever for her to come! I am totally ready. Went to the Doctor again and I measured 37 weeks. My Dr. was surprised that I'm STILL measuring big. I asked if this meant that Adelaide was going to be a big baby. She said that I might be carrying high. She felt my tummy and said "she definitely doesn't feel like a 7-8 pound baby. She feels like a 5 pounder."

She is pretty far up from my pubic bone so I am carrying high. She is always moving around and I can never get comfortable it seems. My tendons and ligaments keep stretching and it's the most excruciating
pain I've felt since I've been pregnant. If I keep it up (measuring big) I will be HUGE by the time I have her.

Every morning when I wake up my legs are either tingly or numb. My hands are stiff from them being compressed. The first thing I do is massage my hands so they go back to normal. Oh the joys of being a mother. :-) My sister wasn't helping at all either. The other day I was talking to her and she said, "Just wait till you're having your third child. Your pelvis feels and sounds like it's going to break every time you move." Yeah... that makes me want to have more kids. But of course we end up with a bundle of joy. Women must forget all the pain and agony that comes with pregnancy because we seem to have more and more children. My mother-in-law said that pregnancy has to be awful in order for us to go through labor. Oh goodness...... am I truly ready for this? :-S Haha

32 Weeks

I went to the Doctor today and everything looks normal. I did measure 35 weeks but she didn't seem worried. I guess 1-3 weeks big is still normal. She said I was close to being over it though. I start going to the Dr. every two weeks now! It's getting closer!

What I've been craving:
Anything and everything fruity!
Fruit
Lots of Apples, bananas, grapes and strawberries
Twizzlers
skittles
starburts
sour worms
craisins

Not the healthiest things but they sure do taste good.

In the last four weeks I got varicose veins which totally stinks! They are just in my feet and ankles. The Dr. told me to get compression socks and prop my feet up as much as possible. So when I'm not working I'm supposed to be laying on the couch. Most of the time I follow the rules but I can't sit still for too long. I either have to clean, make dinner or just get up to walk around. Sometimes I feel like my ankles are going to burst so that's when I know I absolutely need to rest. But ever since I've been subbing the pregnancy has flown by, and I'm truly grateful.

-Adelaide is usually up around 9 P.M. and stays awake until I fall asleep.
-I started feeling her getting hiccups.
-She likes to take her foot or arm and drag it across my belly. It feels super weird but I always laugh
 when it happens.

I have been watching "A Baby Story" on TLC and it's making me freak out a little. I was thinking about having a natural labor but I'm a wuss when it comes to pain and I've been slowly transitioning to having an epidural. I think my biggest fear is that when I go into labor that Geoff is going to be in class or taking a final that I won't be able to reach him so he can take me to the hospital.
