Had to ride a train back to Cusco. The entertainment was great! 

The first night in Cusco we had a slight surprise in the middle of the night. We were pooped from all the traveling that day and went to bed early. I woke up to some banging and my first thought was that Geoff was trying to find something in the dark. Five seconds later something hit me in the face. The lights were suddenly on. I go to hit Geoff for waking me up and realized what happened. The picture hanging above the bed fell on top of us. Geoff was still sound asleep with the picture covering his entire  face. When we woke up the next morning Geoff asked why the picture was off the wall. HE HADN'T FELT OR REMEMBERED A THING!! Haha!! After that long story... when we went back to the same hotel for the last night in Cusco we got a pretty sweet room. We even had air conditioning! It was more like a pent house. ;-) 

I came back into the room to see little Adelaide like this. This was the first time to see her pull herself up to something.

All the buildings were built on Inca ruins. 

Machu Picchu

Yay!! We finally made it to Machu Picchu! We took an awesome bus ride from Aguas Calientes to Macchu Picchu. Speeding up the mountain on switchbacks where we zoom past other buses coming down. It was fascinating...ha not. And of course on one side there is a sheer drop off.

Lonny, Emily and I hiked up to the Sun Gate. One word...BEAUTIFUL! 

We made it! It only took 1.5 hours. totally worth it!!
