Our second day of our trip within a trip we went on a Sacred Valley tour. It started off with a wildlife refuge.
I think there were five pumas snuggled all cozy together.
It was a little freaky standing in between two condors. One of them is blind.
And they took that one to fly across it's pen. But we didn't realize where it was going to fly. :-)
Made out of Llama and Alpaca. It also showed how they got all the different color dyes for the thread.
Next was a petting Zoo. We got to feed the animals and Adelaide didn't even want to look at the animals. We tried to let her feed them but she wouldn't pay attention.
She's finally interested.
Babies in their native clothes.
Adelaide in her spacious one bedroom hut.
Sacred Valley Pic
The Oven. Not everyone has their personal oven in the house, they have a community oven instead. We had a delicious empanada. We walked around and found cute little guinea pigs.

Both Alive and dead. It's a Peruvian specialty. I would have had no problem trying this if it wasn't served whole. It was kinda sad to see live ones in the corner. It's like lobsters here...you can choose which one you want.
Ollantaytambo
Another scary site for the faint of heart.
Can anyone see a face?
How about now?
Geoff was as tall as the doorway.
