One Year Pictures

While we were in Utah for Thanksgiving, we took a few pictures (1 year pictures). Adelaide LOVES the camera. She can smile on cue almost every time.

We decided to take a family picture and throw it on a Christmas card.

I can't believe my baby is almost 14 months!

Giving Thanks

that Adelaide can now stand without hesitation. She is growing like a weed. Sunday she had her two bottom teeth come in.

We are grateful she can entertain herself.

Thankful for an awesome night with my husband, making gingerbread houses and watching Christmas movies. I have always been bad at guessing the amount of materials we need. Thankfully, Geoff loves candy.

We are blessed with a wonderful family. Adelaide was so happy to be with kids her age. She loves her cousins, especially Reese. Some of the pictures are blurry but they were too cute not to put up. :-)
They will be best friends!

Even though Reese can walk, she enjoyed crawling around and chasing Adelaide.

I am grateful for Lonny and Lori for being wonderful grandparents. We skyped on Thanksgiving day and all the kiddos were huddled around the computer. :-)

Thankful for yummy food and crazy family to share it with.

Full of Joy and relief to know I'm related to these cuties (and to know that if I'm in trouble, they will be right there to save me!).

Especially Captain America.

Sometimes she needs a nap once in awhile.

Great Grandma Townsend even joined in on the fun.

After saving the city they sat down and had a sugar high which of course followed by another rampage from the villains (aka their uncles).

Lastly, Geoff and I are thankful for the Temple. Thankful that we were sealed for time and eternity and that we have the sweetest baby girl. That we have the knowledge that we know if we live righteously we can return to our Heavenly Father and be with our family forever. I love this time of year and all the holidays we get to spend with our loved ones but it's also because we start off with being grateful and then giving service and thinking of others. This is what Christmas is all about, remembering our Savior Jesus Christ and his birth, to be kind and love one another.

First Birthday

Adelaide is 1! She had the best week ever! Grandpa and Grandma Tuckett, Aunt Aubrie, Cousin Cole, Cousin Kailey and Cousin Mackenna came all the way from Oklahoma to come to her party! Just a few things we did on our "to-do list," was

visiting the Mesa Temple,

taking a bath with a cousin,

Playing a game,

or two,

or three,

rooting for BYU,

Eating at Joes Farm Grill,

making a birthday cake,

opening presents,

eating cake,

and playing with toys.

A few things I want to remember about Adelaide at this age is that she has started to stand up all by herself with no support of a couch or wall. She tries to repeat what you say like thank you, there you go, mama, dada. She is a super fast crawler. She sleeps 12 hours at night and has two 2 hour naps a day. She eats everything we give her...she LOVES food! Adelaide is always on the go, always curious to learn how things work. She loves her daddy!! She likes anything related to mickey and minnie mouse, the refrigerator, balloons or buttons (especially the XBOX controller).
