Lima

Oh my goodness! Where to start?? Our journey only started at 9 in the morning and didn't end until around 2 at night. Thankfully we were able to meet Geoff's mom and dad and sister in Dallas and flew all the way to Peru together. Good thing because 1) Geoff and I can't speak or understand spanish and 2) Adelaide spent a couple hours with them while mommy and daddy enjoyed the peace and quiet.

Since Peru is in the southern hemisphere it's winter. Most of the time all we needed was a light jacket but we made sure this little missy stayed warm (at least tried to).

In order to survive we needed to eat. In order to eat we needed to go grocery shopping. Emily swore up and down ;-) that this fruit was delicious! I can't remember what the name is called but I had no problem trying it out. Apparently all you do is open a tiny opening at the top and suck the fruit out.

Geoff was a little unsure...

Especially after he saw what it looked like. He gaged. He couldn't do it.

Went to the Inka Market!

Driving to a Mall.

LOVE this picture.

The mall that's in a cliff, outlooking the ocean. How cool is that??

Went all the way to Peru to eat Burger King and Chinese food.

We went for a stroll to look at a light house. We saw paragliders, workout equipment and statues.

I laughed when I saw these. Apparently lots of people stop and exercise when they are out and about.

Packing

for the move and to Peru! Moving is stressful! Especially when you don't get back from vacation until the day before you are driving all your stuff to another state and new home. It was more fun and games than actually packing. More chaos than organized.

Family

We have been busy this past month! I finally have time to catch up on some blogging. We will go back to the day we had a Tuckett family dinner... for the last time in Utah.  :-(  Kailey and Jake are going to Oklahoma for a job, Geoff and I to Arizona.

This cute couple just got engaged!

Baby Makenna is SOOOOO cute!!!

Comparing the two babies. Adelaide looks big and no longer a baby! She learned how to crawl this week as well.

Even though Geoff and I were ready to leave Utah, we sure do miss having the Utah family around.
