2 weeks

Adelaide had her 2 week check-up yesterday and she is doing great!
Her stats:
Weight: 6 lbs. 5 oz. in the 3 %tile
Height: 19.25 inches, 8 %tile
Head: 13 inches, 2.6 %tile

Geoffrey can't even play a game with out his little love bug.

My parents have been a huge help. My mom has been sleeping in the living room each night with Adelaide. She keeps her happy during the night until I need to feed her. I honestly think that she is more sleep deprived that I am. Although that will soon change because tonight is going to be the first night with her in our room. Geoff and I have been spoiled. :-)

First tummy time. I am impressed with how strong her neck is already. She is awesome at changing her head from side to side. She only seems to get frustrated at the end of tummy time when she is exhausted, but she really enjoys it otherwise.

Aunt Abby loves her new niece.

Decorating for the Season

Adelaide's first time to decorate for Christmas. It seems that we can only take pictures of her either sleeping or making silly faces. :-) My family has a tradition that we get a new ornament each year for the tree. Adelaide's first ornament is a "peanut."

My mom made her a stocking. She does it for everyone that comes into the family. She brought Geoff's out as well.

Daddy wanted to get a picture of all his children.

First Thanksgiving

Her hands are so tiny.

Geoff and I spent an entire day going from store to store trying to find a newborn Thanksgiving outfit. Wal-Mart, Target, Babies"R" Us, Burlington Coat Factory, etc. didn't have ANYTHING!! Really? We ended up with this cute little dress. We tried to keep it as festive as possible. She still has time to grow into it. :-)

Adelaide took after her daddy it looks like...

Thanksgiving Dinner at the Nufer's.

Abby even came down.

Isn't she a cutie? I even tried to make a Thanksgiving headband for her.

Glamor Girl

I wanted to get professional pictures done with Adelaide but having a baby is kinda expensive. We tried to do it ourselves. At least they are cute because Adelaide is in them. :-)

Had to throw in some where she was squirmy too.

Theses next two pictures are for my sister-in-law and niece. Adelaide likes to suck on her fingers like Kirsten.

More Pictures

We can't seem to stop taking pictures of Adelaide. :-)
Right when we got home Geoffrey had to hold her.

Tuesday we went to her first Dr. appointment. She did awesome! No crying whatsoever.
The hospital pediatrician wanted her to go to the Doctor asap since she had lost some weight. Thankfully when they weighed her she gained an ounce and a half (5 lbs. 4.5 oz).

Yay! I love my car seat!! Not!

Her first headband. I made a couple flowers way too big but then again I wasn't expecting her to be so tiny.

Daddy loves his Adelaide!

Nap time. This happens frequently. :-) And she sleeps like me...her mouth wide open.
