Cate's 2nd Birthday Party

Yay! I finally caught up, what a relief! This past week my Mom, Dad and sister have been here and having fun. Today was Cate's birthday party. It is Easter weekend and was a bad idea to plan a party. Lots of people were already busy, oh well. :-)

Cate is obsessed with Moana. OBSESSED! She wants to watch it every morning and I love when she sings the songs. We opened presents on her real birthday and everyone got her Moana something which was perfect.

Just a few pictures of the party. Thanks for everyone that came, we love you guys!

And I'm not sure why some of the pictures are sideways. They are perfectly fine in my photos. Weird.

Ballet and Tap Dance

Since we moved to Tucson, AZ we didn't have friends and I wanted Adelaide to be in classes so she can learn and have fun while not being at home. She needs to socialize with more children her age besides church on Sundays. These pictures are from her "recital." Daddy even got to take off half the day to go. She LOVED that he got to go. He even bought her a bouquet of roses for her afterwards. I hope the video works.

Adelaide's 4th Birthday

Happy Happy Birthday Adelaide! Zootopia was such a cute movie, I was glad Adelaide wanted to have it as her party theme. We had family over and had a PAR-TAY!

Summer 2016

After graduation we moved back to Provo, Utah. Geoff didn't have a job and he had to study for the BAR exam, which really is a full time job. He studied three months every day.

While he was being studious, the girls and I go to play. We got passes of all passes and the best part of moving back to Utah was that Geoff's older Sister and family lived there. We went over at least once a week I'm sure. My cousins were still in town for school and the summer was definitely cooler than an Arizona summer. It seems like a distant memory now when I think about it, but man was it fun. I know Adelaide loved getting to play with her cousins so often.

Even though we moved to Utah, it didn't seem like it. We went to Arizona almost every month for 6 months (maybe more).

Geoff took the BAR exam at the end of July 2016 in Phoenix. It took another 3 months to hear back to see if he even passed it! TORTURE!! But it was nice to relax and be together as a family.

Geoff's Law School Graduation May 2016

I thought this day would NEVER come. We had been married 6 years when he graduated and all of those years one or both of us were in school. It was awesome to know we were done but scary because we had no idea what our future would hold. Lonny and Lori and Geoff's sister Emily came down for the celebration. Whohoo!

Geoff was recognized for over 300 Pro bono hours in the three years at Law School.

This cute family was our Law School buddies. We love them and wouldn't have known what to do without them. Adelaide and Kennedy got along so well and James and Cate were born 3 weeks apart. Best buddies and we sure hated living them when we moved to Utah.

Besties forever!
